Window frame spraying

What are the Stages of window frame painting?

These are the 5 stages of spray painting that we recommend.

1.Prior to painting, we mask off areas that will not be painted.

We recommend using a glass-specific adhesive film with high adhesion strength.

2.Clean with chemicals.
We chemically sanitise the to-be-painted areas. The specialised chemicals eliminate all grime and oxidation from the window frames.

3.Framing.
Any masonry and other nearby materials are protected and covered to prevent paint overspray.

4.Add the grip coat
The crucial traction coat, similar to an undercoat, is applied. It only needs to be added sparingly, but it is vital because paint adheres to it. This can contribute to paint flaking in the future if it is not applied correctly.

5.Apply the top coat.
Professional application of the topcoat will result in a flawless painted finish.

Why you might consider spraying your windows

Our professional window frame spraying service ensures that your window frames are always painted to appear brand new. When you compare painting your windows to replacing them, you can save up to 75 percent. Another advantage of window frame spraying is the ability to alter their colour. The current trend is to replace white window frames with coloured ones. The most fashionable colour is anthracite grey.

You may think you can spray your window frames if you desire to do so. In theory, you can spray paint your own window frames, but the issue then becomes how they will look and durable will the paint be after.
The majority of do-it-yourselfers assume they only need speciality paint and a paintbrush or roller. However, this is insufficient and will not help you achieve your objectives. Ultimately, if you wish to respray your window frames, you presumably dislike their current appearance.

Trying to repaint your window frames yourself and get them to look like you want  is hard because you will not be able to achieve a professional finish like a uPVC spraying company..

This is because applying paint on window frames requires specialised spraying equipment.

In addition to this equipment, you will also need the proper paint and years of experience spraying things like windows, doors, garage doors, and kitchen cabinets.

The reasons why you shouldn't do paint spraying yourself

To spray-paint windows to a professional standard, experience is essential.

You must have access to the highest quality paint. In our industry, the paint used for painting window frames is referred to as a coating, which is why we are named Midlands UPVC coatings Ltd.

There is a need for specialised paint spraying apparatus.

Experience in preparation cannot be disregarded.

Incorrect application of the fundamental principle of painting can result in a variety of issues with your windows.

Using a paintbrush frequently results in brush markings in the final paint layer. Inadequate painting techniques can also result in paint streaks and a paint layer that is too thin, leading to fading.

On the other hand, using a paintbrush can frequently lead to overwhelming it with paint, resulting in an overabundance of paint.
